Rajesvari Yoga with Graeme

Graeme & His Studio

Graeme has had a few careers from hospitality to horticulture and ended up a stonemason.

He loves the outdoors, physical labour and creative flair and was very successful however it came with  considerable wear and tear on his body.

On the advice from Yogis encountered in his travels, Graeme attended beginner classes and community Yoga events.

In a trip to Rishikesh, (India) in 2017 he landed by chance in the class of Master Instructor, Shailendra Dangwal and trained in traditional Hatha yoga. This resulted in a physical transformation with improvement in his balance, strength and flexibility and relief from years of back and knee pain.

My Certifications

Yoga Studio in the peace and tranquility that is Pilbara Park

Yoga classes run in the studio, overlooking the garden, are carefully planned, inspired and heart-felt.

The peace and stillness of the space is remarked upon by all who enter and the depth of the teaching is enhanced by its atmosphere.

The Rajesvari Yoga Shala began as an upgrade of the granny flat which was on site when we took over the property, ‘Pilbara Park’, and turned into a labour of love that transformed the tired cement sheet portable into what it now is.

It is the masterpiece of the artisan, with each sandstone piece carved by hammer and chisel and married to recycled building materials, with the end result being a truly unique and beautiful space in which to learn and practise.

Free of preconception, the studio evolved as the windows and doors, floor and ceiling boards and various fittings and decorations came to us, each with their own history. Everything in the studio is special.
